David Kuhfal [?] officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant View Cemetery at Plainview with arrangements by Beyer Funeral Home of Neligh. Pallbearers were Randy Eichberger, Bruce Hild, Aaron Johnson. Mark Eichberger, Roger Eichberger and Terry Brookhouser. Geale Maxine Loney, daughter of Eugene and Rachel (Brewster) Loney, was born April 19, 1923, at South Sioux City. She grew up in the Plainview area and graduated from Plainview High School. On June 28, 1941, she married Elmer Doerr at O”Neill. The couple famed near Plainview for many years before retiring to Neligh in 1995. While living in Neligh, Mrs. Doerr worked for her daughter at the Village Shop. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Plainview and after moving to Neligh, she became a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Doerr died Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the Golden LivingCenter in Neligh. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and a brother, Dick Loney.
