Description	:	GENA CHURCHILL PASSES AWAY Gena Ann Benson Churchill, 43, of Norfolk, the daughter of Sherry Baker and Galen Benson, was born August 7, 1973, in Genoa. She left for heaven, unexpectedly, at her home in Norfolk on May 4, 2017. She attended grade school through the fifth grade at St. Edward Public School , when she moved with her mother, Sherry Baker, to San Antonio, Texas. Read More	GENA CHURCHILL PASSES AWAY Gena Ann Benson Churchill, 43, of Norfolk, the daughter of Sherry Baker and Galen Benson, was born August 7, 1973, in Genoa. She left for heaven, unexpectedly, at her home in Norfolk on May 4, 2017. She attended grade school through the fifth grade at St. Edward Public School , when she moved with her mother, Sherry Baker, to San Antonio, Texas. There she graduated from MacArthur High School in 1991. Following her graduation, both she and her mother moved to Omaha where Mrs. Churchill took college classes at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and in Omaha. She was employed as a travel agent in Omaha. In 1997, she married Robert Churchill, Jr. To this union, two daughters were born, Maya Elizabeth Baker and Gracelyn Renee Baker, who currently reside in St. Edward with their adopted mother, Sherry Baker. In 2012, she relocated to Norfolk. She enjoyed watching her daughters grow and spending time with them, caring for her pets, planting her flower garden and reading. She is survived by her two daughters, Maya Baker and Gracie Baker; mother, Sherry Baker; father, Galen Benson, and his wife, Maxine, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Baker; former husband, Bob Churchill of Omaha; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2017 at the United Methodist Church in St. Edward with Pastor Vern Olson officiating. Interment will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward. [St. Edward Advance - Thursday, May 25, 2017]
