Description	:	Geo. A. Billmire died on Sunday morning last, at his residence on Story street, after a lingering illness, aged nearly 68 years. He was born in Virginia, entered into the employ of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad when but 16 years of age, which had been his line of work as long as he was able to engage in any active employment. Billmire died on Sunday morning last, at his residence on Story street, after a lingering illness, aged nearly 68 years. He was born in Virginia, entered into the employ of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad when but 16 years of age, which had been his line of work as long as he was able to engage in any active employment. He leaves a wife, four sons and three daughters John G., George E., Robt. M., of Boone, and Harry G., of Clinton; Mrs. W.E. Grosh of Streeter, Ill., Mrs. F.M. Ballou and Miss Mamie E., of Boone, Two sons, John G. and George E. are engineers and another son, the oldest, who died April 6, 1900, was also an engineer. All the living children were with Mr. Billmire at the time of his death as he had wished. Funeral Wednesday afternoon at the residence, conducted by Rev. O.H.L. Mason, assisted by Rev. A.A. Collins. Son of William H. Billmire and Katherine Summers.
