Okeson, who has been ill since the Fourth, passed away Tuesday evening at the family home here in town. The immediate cause of his death was uraenic poisoning. Deceased was born in Academia, Juniata County, Penn., April 6, 1835. When 18 years of age he went to Indiana, where he remained four years, and where he was married to Emma V. Johnson in 1857.
