Description	:	George C. Baugh, son of Charles and Minnie Gossman Baugh, was born February 25, 1883 at Sutton, Neb. He passed away at the Geneva Hospital Friday, June 10, 1966, at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 14 days. He lived most of his life in Fillmore and York counties and was engaged in farming. He was baptized in the Lutheran Church, but transferred to the Congregational Church and later to the McCool Methodist Church. Baugh, son of Charles and Minnie Gossman Baugh, was born February 25, 1883 at Sutton, Neb. He passed away at the Geneva Hospital Friday, June 10, 1966, at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 14 days. He lived most of his life in Fillmore and York counties and was engaged in farming. He was baptized in the Lutheran Church, but transferred to the Congregational Church and later to the McCool Methodist Church. March 31, 1909, he was united in marriage to Ruie Maranello. they were permitted to share life together for 57 years. This union ws blessed with two children, Vera Lonsdale of Fairfax, Cal., and Delbert of York, Neb. His parents, five brothers, four sisters and one grandchild preceded him in death. Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife and children, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother, Herman of Kingman, Kas., two sisters, Lizzie Koahn of Comstock and Millie Kness of York; other relatives and many friends. He was a devoted husband and father, quiet and unassuming. time will not erase him from the memories of those who knew him well, for his kindly deeds and his willingness to lend a helping hand. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, June 13, at 2 o'clock at the McCool Methodist church with Rev. Leonard Hartwig officiating, assisted by Mrs. Lydia Garver. Pallbearers were Melvin Ellis, Robert Real, Frank Lusk, Clifford Schneider, Harry Whitemore, and Charles Phillips, all of McCool. "Beyond the Sunset" and "In the Garden" were sung by Nancy Kelch and Mrs. Garver. The organ was played by Carol Schneider. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery.
