Description	:	Millie Daisy Kness was born to Charles and Minnie Gosman Bach on April 23, 1890, in Fairmont. She departed this life May 6, 1975, at the age of 85 years and 1 days. She was the last of a family of 13 children. Millie was united in marriage to Bert William Kness on October 23, 1907, and lived in the Fairmont community until leaving nine years ago to make her home at the I.O.O.F. Home in York. Read More	Millie Daisy Kness was born to Charles and Minnie Gosman Bach on April 23, 1890, in Fairmont. She departed this life May 6, 1975, at the age of 85 years and 1 days. She was the last of a family of 13 children. Millie was united in marriage to Bert William Kness on October 23, 1907, and lived in the Fairmont community until leaving nine years ago to make her home at the I.O.O.F. Home in York. The union was blessed with three daughters and two sons. Surviving her are her daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) Knox of Oak; Mrs. Claude (Lucy) McDonald of Fairmont; Mrs. Louise Wilson of Plattsmouth; a son, Ralph Kness of San Jose, Cal.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son. She was a kind and loving mother and ready to help her friends and neighbors when she was needed. As a child, she joined the Congregational Church and was a member of the Fairmont Community Church at the time of her death. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 8 in Fairmont since 1926. Service were held May 9, 1975, at the I.O.O.F. Home in York and at the Fairmont Community Church with the Rev. Jay Schmidt officiating. Vocalists were Mr. and Mrs. Federal Bridgman, organist was Mrs. Marvin Swartz. Pallbearers were Jim Engle, Jack Jacobsen, Clerence Schleip, Marvin Schleip, Richard Schleip, Francis Jacobsen. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal May 15th, 1975 page 6. 12th child of Charles and Minnie (Gossman) Bach. Married Bert W. Kness on October 23, 1907.
