Taylor, prominent resident of Glendale township, and a resident of Hand County for the past twenty-five years, passed away last Monday at a Rochester, Minn., hospital. Farmer Dies at Rochester Following Operation G. C. Taylor, prominent resident of Glendale township, and a resident of Hand County for the past twenty-five years, passed away last Monday at a Rochester, Minn., hospital. Death followed a very delicate operation for an ailment from which he had been suffering for some time. The deceased was born in Dallas County, Iowa, and at the time of his death was 57 years of age. He was married to Miss Blanche Cox in 1901, and six years later came to Hand County, maintain a continuous residence in Glendale township. Mr. Taylor was well known and highly respected in this community. He was a good neighbor and a friend in need. He was a faithful member of the church of Christ for many years, and a member of the Masonic fraternity. Funeral services were held Wednesday from the church of Christ of this city, Pastor J.A. Dunn having charge of the services. Burial was made in the G.A.R. cemetery. Surviving him are his wife, four sons Harold, Glen, Earl and Leland, and one daughter, Mrs. Leslie Droz, all of Miller, and two brothers, Dell and Arthur Taylor.
