Description	:	Fred J. Ashe, a well-known resident of Canonsburg. died at 9:40 o'clock this morning, at the St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a lingering illness. He was a son of the late Rev. A. J. and Mrs. Martha Ashe, of Springdale. Rev. Ashe was a former pastor of the First M. E. Church of Canonsburg. Mr. Ashe was aged 35 years, and was a highly respected citizens of Canonsburg. and always active in church, work. He had been in poor health for many months, and for the past few weeks his condition had been serious and his death was not unexpected... Read More	Fred J. J. and Mrs. Martha Ashe, of Springdale. Rev. Ashe was a former pastor of the First M. E. Church of Canonsburg. Mr. Ashe was aged 35 years, and was a highly respected citizens of Canonsburg. and always active in church, work. He had been in poor health for many months, and for the past few weeks his condition had been serious and his death was not unexpected by his many friends. A few years ago he married Miss Frances Briceland, who with one son, S. Henry Ashe, survive. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, and a member of the Sigma Epsilon fraternity. He is also survived by his mother, three brothers, B. F. Ashe, S. T. Ashe, W. S. Ashe, and one sister, Mrs. W. Rowling Arthur. The arrangements for the funeral have as yet not been made, but they will be announced later. The body will be brought to Canonsburg, and taken to his late home.
