Lang, 77, 0f 1932 Gladstone died at 7 p.m. May 24, 1993, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. He was born Feb 13, 1916, in Ottumwa to Fred and Irene Gray Lang. He married Marjorie L. Adams on July 8, 1936, in Ottumwa. He was a 1934 graduate of Ottumwa High School and attended Iowas Success School. He served in the Navy from 1944-46. He had been employed at Ottumwa Post Office as a carrier and supervisor, retiring in 1974. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of Masonic York Rite Group Empire Lodge 269 Benevolment and Protective Order of Elks. He is survived by two son and a daughter, 10 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; and a stepgreatgranddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a stepgrandaughter. No services are planned. Entombment will be in Shrine of Memories Mausoleum. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Masonic York Rite Bodies or Veterans of Foreign Wars and may be left at Shrine of Memories Funeral Home in Ottumwa.
