Description	:	George H. Urich, 76, Route 4, died Wednesday at 2:10 p.m. at the Ottumwa Manor. He was a retired construction worker. He was born Aug. 31, 1895, in Wapello County near Ash Grove, the son of Sherman and Charlotte Downing Urich. He was an Army overseas veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Salvation Army and the Eagles Lodge. He married Charolette Kershner May 25, 1962, in Ottumwa. She survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Johnston of Des Moines and Mrs. Gwendolyn Perkins of Arkansas; and a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Barnes of Galesburg, Ill. He... Read More	George H. He was a member of the Salvation Army and the Eagles Lodge. He married Charolette Kershner May 25, 1962, in Ottumwa. She survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Johnston of Des Moines and Mrs. Gwendolyn Perkins of Arkansas; and a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Barnes of Galesburg, Ill. He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. The service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Chapel. Capt. Dale Sherod of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will be in the Point Isabelle Cemetery south of Ottumwa, where military services will be conducted by the American Legion. Pallbearers will be Robert A. and Robert N. Hynd, Norman Wemer, Ora Snow, Herman Miller and Thomas Slye.
