He married Cleo at St. Mary Church Convent Chapel in Lancaster on August 1968. His parents were William and Mary (Gaspers) Jacobs. He worked at Thimmes Motors (Studebaker Dealer) in Lancaster for 28 years doing wheel alignment. In 1968 after Thimmes Motors folded he built a shop and started his own businees doing wheel alignment until he retired. He was a member of Lancaster St. Mary of the Assumption Church where he was a usher for many years. The Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary Church. He died at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio. His obits were published in the Lancaster Eagle Gazette.
