He was born on August 11, 1926 in Foley, Alabama to George H. and Mabelle (Morris) Boyle, Sr. He married Ruth Marie Heath on December 4, 1948 in Sunnyside,WA, where their first son George (Chip)was born in September 1949. Six months later in 1950, moved to Southern Arizona near Bisbee and Douglas where sons Brock, Jeff, Douglas and Alan were born. Boyle, Jr. 85, formerly of Prosser, WA passed away on October 13, 2011 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on August 11, 1926 in Foley, Alabama to George H. and Mabelle (Morris) Boyle, Sr. He married Ruth Marie Heath on December 4, 1948 in Sunnyside,WA, where their first son George (Chip)was born in September 1949. Six months later in 1950, moved to Southern Arizona near Bisbee and Douglas where sons Brock, Jeff, Douglas and Alan were born. He worked nearly twenty years for Phelps Dodge Copper Corp.at the Lavender pit in Bisbee with the explosive team. In the mid 1970's after all the kids had graduated from high school they moved back to Washington and settled near Prosser where he worked and retired from Holtzinger Fruit Company as a cold storage mechanic. After 59 years of marriage mom passed away in March of 2008 at which time dad moved to live with son Brock in Wichita, Kansas. He also served in the Navy aboard a destroyer in the South Pacific during World Warll. His hobbies were gardening, taking care of his yard, tinkering around in his shop and RVing with mom to visit kids and grand-kids. George was preceded in death by his wife Ruth M. Boyle,his parents and granddaughter Lisa Ann Boyle. He is survived by sons George (Chip) H. Boyle lll (Liz)of Naches, WA, Brock S. Boyle (Susan) of Wichita, KS, Jeffrey M. Boyle (HA) of Encino, CA, Douglas M. Boyle (Cindy) of Thousand Psalms, CA, Alan J. Boyle (Angie) of Tucson, Arizona, a brother-in-law Reed S. Heath (Sharon)of Prosser, WA, 23 grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews. Burial of both George and Ruth's ashes will be at 10:30 am on July 31, 2012 at Lower Vally Memorial gardens, 7800 Van Belle Road, Sunnyside, WA with a memorial service to follow at the Church of Christ, 116 fir St, Grandview, WA. Dad was the kindest, most gentle man anyone could meet and will be very missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers the family would be grateful of donations to the Lower Vally Hospice, and American Heart Association or the charity of ones choice.
