He was born September 4, 1888, two and one-half miles southwest of Pickering and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George M. Loch. Mr. Loch, who had spent all of his life on a farm, had lived at the present residence three months. With the exception of nine years spent on the Herren farm, two miles east of Maryville, he had resided his entire life in the Pickering vicinity. He was a member of the Pickering Methodist church. He was married September 6, 1908, to Miss Anna Wray of Pickering. He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons, Paul Loch, Maryville, and Eugene Loch, of Pickering; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Hildreth, Herington, Kansas; two brothers, Frank Loch, Ravenwood and John Loch, Pickering; two half-sisters, Mrs. Frank Howard, Gaynor, and Mrs. Willard Caldwell, Kansas City, and one grandchild.
