Description	:	George L. Graham, son of William and Mary Graham, was born in Green County, Pennsylvania, on April 24, 1864. When he was a boy of five years his parents moved to Henry County, Iowa, where he grew to manhood in the vicinity of Lowell. His father and mother both died while he was just a boy. After their death he made his home with David Graham, an older brother, who has preceded him in death. On August 3rd, 1887, he was united in marriage to Lucinda Smith. When he was a boy of five years his parents moved to Henry County, Iowa, where he grew to manhood in the vicinity of Lowell. His father and mother both died while he was just a boy. After their death he made his home with David Graham, an older brother, who has preceded him in death. On August 3rd, 1887, he was united in marriage to Lucinda Smith. To this union were born eleven children: Mrs. Ada Paden of Kahoka, Mo.; Louis of Fort Madison; Beulah of Chicago, Ill.; Merle of Revere, Mo.; Walter of Bonaparte; Ed and Roy at home; Mrs. Maude Curley of Farmington; Mrs. Ethel Dinsmore of Hillsboro, Iowa; Jennie Bell, who died in infancy, and Mrs. Anna Brown, who died in 1915. He is survived by his wife, nine children and twelve grandchildren. One of the grandchildren, Verla Brown, has been one of the family, as her grandparents have cared for her since she was ten days old. Two sisters, Mrs. J. I. Davis, of Farmington, and Mrs. Will Justice, of Fullerton, Calif., also survive, besides other near relatives. Most of his married life was spent on the farm in the vicinity of the Sharon Church. Four years ago he moved to his home west of Farmington. While he has not been well for the past few years, he was suddenly stricken with apoplexy at his home on Tuesday afternoon, March 14, 1933, and departed this life the same night, aged 68 years, 10 months and 20 days. He joined the Sharon Presbyterian Church as a young man and rendered years of faithful service as a ruling elder. He was a kind and loving father and husband and always exerted his influence for the advancement of those things which are good. Funeral services were held at Sharon Church, Friday, March 17, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. W. Russell Hunter in charge.
