Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri., Oct. 26, 1945 - Page 1 George Lincoln Bailey George Lincoln Bailey, son of Joseph and Eliza Bailey, was born in Wilton Junction, Muscatine County, Iowa, November 2, 1862, and passed away at the Lutheran Hospital in York, Nebraska, on October 19, 1945, at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 17 days. Mr. Bailey was engaged in farming near Wilton Junction, Iowa, until 1904 when he moved to Osceola Iowa, where he operated a laundry for two years. He then moved to David City, Iowa, where he was in the livery business for two years after which he took up carpentry at Springfield, Missouri, and lived there four years when he located in Omaha where he was engaged in building and contracting for 11 years. He moved to Edgar in March, 1919,, and followed the vocation of mason until ten years ago when he retired from active work. His wife, Mrs. Anna Marguerite Bailey died January 2, 1917. He had made his home with his son, Leonard Bailey, and family since November, 1925. Mr. Bailey is survived by one brother, Joseph L. Bailey of Wilton Junction, Iowa; four sons, Bert Bailey of Perry, Iowa; Charles Bailey of Davenport, Iowa; Glynn Bailey of Omaha; and Leonard Bailey of Edgar, Nebraska; four daughters, Myrtle Renfro and Ruth Debo of Omaha, Nebraska; Grace Stiles of Chicago, Illinois, and Marie Atkins of Arnold, Nebraska; 40 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. One son, Robin Adair, died in infancy. Funeral services were held at the Edgar Presbyterian Church, Monday, October 22, 1945, at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. John W. Kile of Superior and James M. Boyd in charge. Anna May Stewart, Margaret Delaney, J. Rob't. Olseene and J. M. McGhie sang "Jesus Saviour Pilot Me" and "Abide With Me." Mrs. C. E. Smith was at the organ. Pallbearers were: Charles Caldwell, Harvey Wicker, Guy Kinkead, E. L. Smock, Fred Gass and George Gerdes. Interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery. Those from out-of-town attending the funeral of Mr. Bailey were: Bert Bailey and daughter, Mrs. Blanche Miners of Perry, Iowa; Mrs. J. C. Renfro and daughter, Betty, and Glynn Bailey of Omaha, Nebraska; Mr. and Mrs. Don Debo and son of Ralston, Nebraska; Mrs. Grace Stiles of Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Marie Atkins and Lester Schloatman of Arnold, Nebraska, and Mrs. J.
