Burial was in the Edgewood Cemetery. The services were conducted by the Rev. A. H. Meyer, retired Methodist minister. Mr. Seward March 5, 1863 at Rosse Center, Mich., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Seward. He came to Iowa when he was 16 years old and later he spent four years in Seattle. Mr. Seward March 5, 1863 at Rosse Center, Mich., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Seward. He came to Iowa when he was 16 years old and later he spent four years in Seattle. Wash., when that state was still a territory. On Feb. 6 , 1900 he was married to Kate Herman of Elkport. He was engaged in the cattle business for 28 years and then moved to a farm at Wood. Seventeen years ago he moved to Edgewood where for several years prior to his illness he was engaged in the trucking business with his son Lloyd. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Cleo and Lloyd, both at home, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Nellie Bissell, Mrs. Edith Foster, and Lou, all of Edgewood.
