Description	:	George Orrin Hewitt, former Waukon, Iowa, resident, passed away at his home in Antigo, Wisconsin, Staurday morning at the age of 66 years. He had been in ailing health for the past year suffering from heart trouble. Mr. Hewitt was born September 19, 1871, in Lansing, Iowa, a son of Mr. and Mrs George Hewitt. At an early age he became interest in newspaper work and began to learn the printer's trade which he followed all his life. Read More	George Orrin Hewitt, former Waukon, Iowa, resident, passed away at his home in Antigo, Wisconsin, Staurday morning at the age of 66 years. He had been in ailing health for the past year suffering from heart trouble. Mr. Hewitt was born September 19, 1871, in Lansing, Iowa, a son of Mr. and Mrs George Hewitt. At an early age he became interest in newspaper work and began to learn the printer's trade which he followed all his life. Mr. Hewitt was a former Waukon publisher, editing the Waukon Standard for Merle Potter during the World War. He then practiced his trade in Decorah, Iowa when he worked for the Journal, and in Chicago,Illinois, Springfield, Pa., and in Moline, Illinois and from there to Antigo, Wisconsin, where he made his home from then on. He established his own printing shop in Antigo, Wisconsin. On September 20, 1922, he was married to Rae Taylor Ainsworth who survives him, together with a step-son, Glen Ainsworth of San Fernando, California. He also is survived by one brother Edgar of Minneapolis, Mn. who is seriously ill and was unable to attend the funeral and four sisters, Mrs. J.A.Markley of Waukon, Miss Lida Hewitt of Vinton, Iowa, Mrs George Adams of Lamont,Iowa and Mrs Luna Sherman, all of whom attended the funeral in Waukon with the exception of Mrs. Sherman who also is seriously ill at her home in Des Moines, Iowa. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
