Description	:	This community was saddened by the passing of George P. Jamison Thursday morning following a stroke suffered on Tuesday. Funeral services were held at the house at 2:00 o'clock last Sunday, and at 2:30 in the local Presbyterian Church were very largely attended. Rev. Richard Roberts officiated. Burial was made in the cemetery at Farwell. Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. C. L. Bucher, Miss Aleda Bucher, M. O. Nelson and Rev. Roberts, Mrs. C. A. Satter accompanying. D., August 21, 1941. He grew to manhood in Catlin, Ill., where he was united in marriage with Martha Agnes Sandusky, also of Catlin, June 21, 1899. To this union six children were born. Mr. Jamison farmed south of Artesian and in the Farwell community for a good many years, coming to Artesian to make his home several years ago. Mr. Jamison is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Mamie O'Neal, Grand Junction, Iowa; Mrs. Cecile Kremer and Mrs. Dorothy Roberts, both of Oakland, Calif.; a son, Lawrence, of Artesian; one sister of Idaho, one sister and one brother of Catlin, Ill.; eleven grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. Two daughters, Elsie Mae and Mrs. Mabel Kenton, preceded him in death. Mr. Jamison was a member of the Methodist Church at Farwell and a member of the M. W. A. No. 2827. ARTESIAN (S. D.)
