Description	:	Died at the Methodist Hospital in Mitchell, S. D., on Saturday, May 4th, 1929, William Bennett Jamison, aged 51 years, 3 months and 21 days. Mr. Jamison was born January 13, 1878, at Catlin, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Grace Mae Lykins, February 28, 1900, at Catlin, where they resided until 1911, when they moved to Butler Township, Sanbom County, South Dakota, where they have since resided. Read More	Died at the Methodist Hospital in Mitchell, S. D., on Saturday, May 4th, 1929, William Bennett Jamison, aged 51 years, 3 months and 21 days. Mr. Jamison was born January 13, 1878, at Catlin, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Grace Mae Lykins, February 28, 1900, at Catlin, where they resided until 1911, when they moved to Butler Township, Sanbom County, South Dakota, where they have since resided. The funeral was held at the Congregational Church Monday, May 6th, Rev. E. W. Canfield officiating and the remains were laid to rest in the Butler Cemetery. It was one of the largest funerals ever held in Letcher and this, together with the great display of floral offerings, show the high esteem in which the deceased was held by his neighbors and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his widow, Mrs. Grace M. Jamison, and nine children, Mrs. Rosco[e] Bowman, Harlan Jamison of Letcher, Byron Jamison of Mitchell, John, Gretchen, Rose, Francis, Annabell and Jean, all living at home. Two grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers also survive him. An infant son, Herman Leroy, preceded his father in death about sixteen years ago. Mr. Jamison united with the Presbyterian Church early in life and died in the faith. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and a loyal friend. The family have the sympathy of the whole community.
