Description :
He was a farmer in the south part of the town, at first on the farm afterward long owned by Benjamin Lovett, now at the end of a short road leading eastward from the Ashburnham road, and later for many years at the end of the road on the eastern side of Whittemore Hill. He was a captain in the militia, and held the office of selectman for a few years.
