Description	:	George Randall "Randy" Dixon went home to his heavenly Father on Sunday Feb 13, 2022 at Vidant Medical Center. He was born on March 21, 1950 to the late Zeno Moye and Louise Boyd Dixon in the Black Jack community. He attended Chicod School and later completed training at the Durham School of Barbering. He was born on March 21, 1950 to the late Zeno Moye and Louise Boyd Dixon in the Black Jack community. He attended Chicod School and later completed training at the Durham School of Barbering. As a young man Randy learned the trade of ticket marketer for the tobacco industry that led him to work in Sylvester, GA, Tazewell, TN, Kentucky, Aberdeen, Sanford and Greenville, NC for 28 years. Randy established the Randy Dixon Crop Insurance Agency and developed a group of clients who also became his lifelong friends. Randy had a passion for gardening and found great joy in giving his produce to anyone in the community, especially the widows. Randy was a member of the Black Jack FWB Church ever since he was a young man. Along with his parents, his brother Jimmy Dixon and half-sister Janet Buie preceded him in death. Randy is survived by his wife Vicki of 49; his two daughters and his two grandchildren. He leaves behind his four siblings as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:30 AM in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Phillip Boykin. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:15 AM at the funeral home. Since Randy always believed in giving, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to Black Jack FWB Church building fund or to the FWB Children's Home at PO Box 249, Middlesex, NC 27557.
