Description	:	George Renze, 85, of Halbur, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at St. Anthony Hospital, where he had been a patient four months. He had been in failing health for two years. Mr. Renze died four days after his brother, Fred H. Renze of Carroll, passed away. They were the last two members of the family of Dietrich and Margaret Schulte Renze. Mr. Renze died four days after his brother, Fred H. Renze of Carroll, passed away. They were the last two members of the family of Dietrich and Margaret Schulte Renze. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Angels Church, Roselle, with the Rev. Richard Graf offering requiem mass. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery. The rosary, led by Fr. Graf, will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Twit Funeral Chapel here. The body is remaining at the funeral home until the time of the final rites. Mr. Renze was born July 28, 1871, in Nortrup, Hanover, Germany. In 1877 he came to the United States with his parents, who settled on a farm three and one-half miles southeast of Roselle. Mr. Renze attended a rural school in the Roselle community. He married Caroline Meyer Jan. 16, 1906, at St. Joseph's Church in Dedham. They were the first couple married in that church by the Rev. H. J. Dries. Mr. and Mrs. Renze established their home on a farm seven miles south of Carroll, where they lived until 1943 when they retired and moved to Templeton. Mrs. Renze died in 1945. Mr. Renze continued to live in Templeton until 1950 when he went to the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Neppl, at Halbur. Surviving children are: Mrs. Clarence (Clara) Wiese, Fonda; Mrs. Albert (Anna) Neppl, Halbur; Mrs. Hugo (Hattie) Wessling, Dedham; Mrs. Vic (Helen) Rupiper, Templeton; and George Renze Jr., Carroll. Mr. Renze also leaves 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Tigges and Mary, in infancy, two sons, Albert and Lawrence, four brothers and two sisters.
