Description	:	Aged Resident of Hocking Township passed away Tuesday Night-had been in ill health for months. After suffering with the infirmithes of old age, George W. Cruit, aged 82 years died at his home in Hocking Township, a few miles west of the city Tuesday night at 11:45 p.m. The deceased is an old resident of Fairfield County and is well known. Mr. Cruit has been ailing in health for several months although his condition was not considered alarming until recently when he gradually grew weaker anmd weaker until the spark of life was extinlt. The deceased is survived by an aged widow and six children to mourn his demise. Four sons and two daughters all living, were born of the union. The sons are Robert Cruit of Kearney, sons are, Bobert Cruit of Cincinnati, Stanley and Ralph of the home. The daughters are Mrs. L.B. Nutter of East Wheeling Street and Mrs. Bessie Wolf of Oklahoma, Nebraska. The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 O'Clock from the First M.E. Church and conducted by Rev. Cunningham. Burial at Forest Rose Cemetery. Note obituary for George Washington Cruit from the Lancaster Eagle Gazette dated October 12, 1910, page 8. It has been typed exactly as it appears- h the error of repeating Robert Cruits name as a son.
