He was born on November 16, 1917, in Aberdeen, Idaho, the son of Louis and Edith (Davis) Aicher. He was raised in Fort Hays, Kansas and graduated from Fort Hays High School. Read More	Obituary for George Wilson Aicher George Wilson Aicher, of Eureka, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Greenwood County Hospital, in Eureka, at the age of 89. He was born on November 16, 1917, in Aberdeen, Idaho, the son of Louis and Edith (Davis) Aicher. He was raised in Fort Hays, Kansas and graduated from Fort Hays High School. He later attended Kansas State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy. On December 8, 1940, George was united in marriage to Maribelle Teichgraeber in Eureka. After graduating from college, he entered the United States Army and served his country with honor and dignity in the South Pacific during World War II. Upon his discharge, he and Maribelle moved to Colorado where George worked for the Great Western Sugar Company. In 1947, they moved to Eureka where George joined his father-in-law as manager of Ranch Aid, later becoming the owner/operator. He retired in 1998. Maribelle preceded him in death on February 8, 2002, after 61 years of marriage. On July 28, 2002, George was united in marriage to Anna Mae Williams in Hutchinson, Kansas. They made their home in rural Eureka. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae, of the home, and one son, Eric Aicher of West Monroe, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 28, 2007, at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Cross officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his name to the Christ Lutheran Church Endowment Fund. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home at P.O.
