Description	:	At 12:20 Monday noon occurred the death of Mrs. George Morris at her beautiful country residence four miles west of the city on Second avenue road. Read More	At 12:20 Monday noon occurred the death of Mrs. George Morris at her beautiful country residence four miles west of the city on Second avenue road. She had been sick but one short week when she was called to leave this earthly life to assume the higher spiritual one. Georgia Anna Elce was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Elce, who resided for a long time on the Hyman farm near Camanche, where she was born June 29, 1862. She was married in 1885 to George Morris and had resided until the time of her death on their farm west of the city. She was conscious until within half an hour of death. Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband, a father residing at Parker, South Dakota, and a brother of Mitchell, South Dakota, both of whom are now on their way to this city. She was an active member of the Tabernacle Methodist Episcopal church and was widely known throughout the eastern part of the county and at her old home as a woman of a most beautiful and spiritual life. Her presence and cheerful life will be sadly missed not only in her beautiful home but in the church society of which she was a leading member. In compliance with her own request, the funeral services will probably be conducted by Rev. J. Q. Robinson of Mt. Vernon. The funeral will occur Thursday with interment at the Camanche cemetery.
