Description	:	Georgia Grace Esslinger was born January 8, 1954 to Earl "Bill" Land and Grace Christine Bowen. She was the youngest of six. She passed away on December 1, 2004. She was dedicated an infant by her parents to be brought up a child of God. Her baptism of faith was March 29, 1964 at First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska. Read More	Georgia Grace Esslinger was born January 8, 1954 to Earl "Bill" Land and Grace Christine Bowen. She was the youngest of six. She passed away on December 1, 2004. She was dedicated an infant by her parents to be brought up a child of God. Her baptism of faith was March 29, 1964 at First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska. She was confirmed on October 29, 1972 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elwood, Nebraska. After graduating with the Class of 1972 from Oxford High School on May 15th, she was married to Roy Charles Esslinger a week later on May 21st. Two children were born to this union. They spent the next 13 years working the family farm. She used this time to enjoy her love of horses and all other animals, for she always seemed to have a pet of some sort to the end of her days. She also used this love as a way to educate, for she was involved in an inner-city outreach program to the young men and women of Denver, Colorado throughout the late 70's. After the years working the farm, she joined her husband as an international truck driver in 1985. She enjoyed communicating with people across the nation before, during and after her time on the road. She was called the "White Dove" on the C.B. radio. She also used this time to start her collection of Teddy Bears from all over. They moved to Arapahoe in the Summer of 1989. Later that same year she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She spent the rest of her life fighting a losing battle to the M.S. Continuing her hobby of stuffed Teddy Bears, she continued to fight with all her spirit and will. Even after spending the last seven years bedridden, she never failed to keep mentoring her children, grandchildren, and many others who were considered and treated as her own kids. In August 2004, she entered the Good Samaritan Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl "Bill" Land and Grace Christine Bowen Land, and her husband, Roy Charles Esslinger on October 10, 2004. Her survivors include children, William Roy and wife Misty Dawn Esslinger and Amanda Renee and husband Donald Conn. Brothers and Sisters include: William J. and wife Betty Land of Nemaha, Nebraska, Robert M. and wife Charlene Land of Bertrand, Nebraska, Beverly Ann and husband Bill Phillips of Henderson, Colorado, Martha Marie and husband Joe Miller of Omaha, Nebraska, and Sandra Jane and husband Gary Dawson of Oxford, Nebraska. Also survived by five grandchildren: Brittney Grace and Tyler Ann Esslinger by William and Misty and Brenden Lee Charles, Brianna Denee and Bryan Otta-mar Conn by Amanda and Don. Blessed are those who live and die in the Lord. Funeral services were conducted from Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe, Nebraska with Rev. Jeff Ernstmeyer officiating. Teresa Leising was the organist with Jane Dawson as soloist along with congregational hymns. Casketbearers were Josh Beck, Raymond Dawson, Joe Robin-son, Carl Davidson, Trent Moore and Wayne Noltensmeier. Honorary casketbearers were Brittney Grace Esslinger, Tyler Ann Esslinger, Brenden Lee Charles Conn, Brianna Denee Conn and Bryan Ottamar Conn. Interment was at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were by Wenburg Funeral Home, Arapahoe, Nebraska.
