Mueller, 76 years, of Fremont, NE died Friday, August 22, 2014 at Nye Legacy in Fremont with family by her side. Georgia was born December 18, 1937 in Lyons, NE to George and Marie(Swanson)Newill. She grew up in the Lyons area and moved to Fremont in 1949. Georgia married Harold Mueller on February 21, 1957 in Council Bluffs, IA. They lived in Omaha, NE for 40 years until returning to Fremont in 2005. They wintered in Texas for several years. They operated the Cass Bowl in Weeping Water, NE for several years. She loved to camp, garden, the outdoors and wildlife. She is survived by her husband, Harold; sons, Steven & wife, Michele Mueller of Avoca, NE and Chris Mueller of Omaha; daughters, Deborah Brandon, Carmen & husband, Lowell Carlson and Laura & husband, David Long all of Fremont; brothers, Rolland & wife, Betty Newill, Mert & wife, Joyce Newill, Larry & wife, Diane Newill, Eddie & wife, Jeannie Newill, Jim Newill & Cheryl Madina, Randy & wife, Kathie Newill, Dave & wife, Christy Newill all of Fremont; sisters, Naomi Marconett, Sharon & husband, Don Henery, Betty Rasmussen and Janice & husband, Lenny Sampson all of Fremont; brothers-in-law, Don & wife, Susan Mueller of Peoria, AZ, Carl & wife, Jeanette Depue of Valley View, TX and Jim Svatora of Fremont; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Fern Cooper and Diane Newill; brother, Keith Newill; and son-in-law, Joe Brandon. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, NE. The Rev. Greg Hall of First United Methodist Church in Fremont will officiate. Visitation on Monday from 2 PM to 8 PM with the family receiving friends from 6 PM to 8 PM all at the funeral home. Visitation on Tuesday 1 hr prior to service.
