The Bismarck Tribune --- Bismarck, North Dakota Monday, May 23, 1927 __________ Devils Lake, N. D. – Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Parrott Packard, 63, secretary of the North Dakota Rebekah assembly, who died here suddenly Sunday night following a paralytic stroke, will be conducted from the Church of the Advent Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. Dr. E. A. Langfeldt, pastor, officiating. The body will be sent tomorrow night to Renwick, Iowa, where interment will be made beside the graves of her husband, the late A. M. Packard, formerly publisher of the Mandan Times, whose death occurred about 12 years ago, and their only child, a son, who died in infancy. Her only survivor, Frank E. Packard of Chicago, nephew of the late Mr. Packard, is expected to arrive in the city tonight. Rebekah assembly officers who will attend the rites are Mrs. Florence Brown of Jamestown, past assembly president, and a close friend of the late secretary, who arrived here last night and Mrs. Clara Monroe of Williston, president of the assembly, expected here today.
