He served in the United States Airforce for 7 years, entering in March 1986 and retiring in February 1993. Gerry served in Desert Storm as a Still Photo Specialist and was awarded the AF Medal of Achievement. Gerry was employed with United States Veterans Hospice as an Executive Director in Washington, DC retiring in 2011. He was a member of US Veterans Hospice Advocacy. Gerry enjoyed photography and traveling. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Vallandingham Family Farm Cemetery-Valli Farm 23111 Budds Creek Road Clements, MD 20624 with Rev. Dr. Paul G.
