Gunn, was born at about 5 o'clock, February 24, 1929, in the south part of Edgar, and was permitted to live only for a few days to brighten the home of its parents and family, and passed away Tuesday afternoon at about 2 o'clock having lived but a brief time. This dear child was never strong, being very delicate, and beginning with its first breath and steadily advancing until the nutritious forces failed to move and death was the result. Hence Paul said, "I (we) die daily" 1 Cor. 15:31. But Jesus said, "Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not." The funeral services were held at the grandmother's home, Wednesday forenoon at 10:30 conducted by the pastor of the Church of Christ, who spoke words of comfort to quite a number of relatives and neighbors, who had gathered to pay a tribute of respect to the grief stricken parents, from the word of Jesus, "Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me", Matt 19:14. This precious little one leaves to mourn, a father, mother, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, two grandmothers and a large circle of relatives. The music was furnished by a ladies' quartet who sang very beautifully and the floral offerings were very beautiful. May the bereaved ones have strength for this sad experience in life are the wishes of the writer and friends of the family.
