Memorial services will be at United Methodist Church Thursday, October 25th at 11 a.m. with the Rev. K.F. (Kilo) Kaleuati officiating. Burial will be at Alliance City Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born June 13, 1940 in Alliance to Lonnie and Mae Davis. He attended school in Alliance. He met and married Sharon Powell on June 5, 1960 in Alliance. Mr. Davis was born June 13, 1940 in Alliance to Lonnie and Mae Davis. He attended school in Alliance. He met and married Sharon Powell on June 5, 1960 in Alliance. In 1958 Mr. Davis became employed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in Alliance. In 1964 he was transferred to Gering, where he worked at the Wildcat Hills Game Reserve. He was later named superintendent and moved to the game reserve. In 1981 he became superintendent of Chadron State Park where he retired after 39 years of service. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. His survivors include his wife, Sharon of Chadron; daughters, Annette and husband Shane Aulick and Jana and husband Alan DeHaven all of Scottsbluff; brothers-in-law, Marvin and Laura Powell of South Dakota and Rob and Judy Hall of Galveston, Texas and Marvin Sloan of Lakeside; sister-in-law, Darlene Davis of Chadron; six grandchildren, Krystal Aulick, Brent Aulick, Kayla DeHaven, Jessica DeHaven, Matthew DeHaven and Mitchell DeHaven; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale Davis and Ed Davis; and sister, Doris Sloan.
