Description	:	Funeral services for Gerald W. Allen, 77, of Creighton were held on Monday, Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Rev. Kenneth Terry officiated with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton. Pallbearers were Gary Frederick, James Sucha, Bud Bauer, James Frederick, Harold Juzenas and Chester Anderson. He was born October 10, 1908 at Norfolk, the son of Ralph and Rose Allen. He died Friday, Aug. 22 at an Omaha hospital. Mr. Allen had been a member of the Creighton Chamber of Commerce, Creighton Volunteer Fire Department, Creighton School Board, Plainview Lodge 204 of AF&AM and St. Mark's Church. Survivors include his wife; one son, Gerald W. Jr. and daughter-in-law, Mary Ann of Ainsworth; daughters, Ann and son-in-law, Dick Hutchinson of Onawa, Ia. and Jane and son-in-law, Allen Holoch of Vermillion, S.D.; 10 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Winchester of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Paul David; one brother, John Allen and one granddaughter, Carrie Kate Holoch.
