Mrs. Glessner had been a resident of Harmony House Convalescent Center at Brewster for the past seven years. Read More	Geraldine E. Glessner, 82, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 28, 1996, in the Brewster Hospital. Mrs. Glessner had been a resident of Harmony House Convalescent Center at Brewster for the past seven years. She was born Sept. 18, 1913, to Fred R. and Evelyn (McChesney) Ward at Port Coquitlam, B.C. The family moved to Mansfield when she was 1 year old and she lived her entire life in Mansfield. She married Del M. Glessner on Nov. 28, 1936, at Coeur d'Alene. Educated in Mansfield, she was a past matron, past grand officer and a 50-year member of Harmony Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; a past noble grand of the Rebekahs as well as a 50-year member; a member of the Mansfield Garden Club, Sunshine Club and secretary/treasurer of the Mansfield Cemetery Association. Geraldine was a member of the Mansfield Church of God, receiving Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1976. She was baptized on June 14, 1981. Survivors include her husband, Del, of the home; a son, Ward, of Mansfield; two daughters, Barbara Roberts of Irving, Texas, and Liz Dixon of East Wenatchee; seven grandchildren, MarChel McDaniel, Lizibeth Funderburg and Chana Sligar, all of Irving, Jeri Drescher and Rick Dixon of East Wenatchee, Dirk Glessner of Kirkland and Kiffen Roberts of Kent; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are by the Waterville Funeral Home. GERALDINE E. GLESSNER - Funeral services for Geraldine E. Glessner, 82, of Mansfield, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, September 3, 1996 in the Mansfield Community Church. Pastor Charles Cooper will officiate. If desired, memorials may be made to the Mansfield Ambulance Fund or to the charity of your choice in Geraldine's name. Concluding services and the interment will follow in the Mansfield Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Waterville Funeral Home.
