Description	:	Geraldine Hineline Feb 21, 1917-Aug 9, 2012 Geraldine Hineline, 95, formerly of Davenport, died Thursday at Scottsbluff. She was born Feb. 21, 1917, in Chappell, to John and Clara (Hansen)Nelson. The family moved to Edgar where she received her education. After high school, she taught school until she married Melvin (Heinie) Hineline on March 9,1940. They moved to a farm near Davenport, and worked side by side making a living for their three daughters. After leaving the farm, they moved into davenport, and Heinie drove the school bus for 21 years, and Geraldine worked in her huge garden and raising beautiful flowers... Read More	Geraldine Hineline Feb 21, 1917-Aug 9, 2012 Geraldine Hineline, 95, formerly of Davenport, died Thursday at Scottsbluff. She was born Feb. 21, 1917, in Chappell, to John and Clara (Hansen)Nelson. The family moved to Edgar where she received her education. After high school, she taught school until she married Melvin (Heinie) Hineline on March 9,1940. They moved to a farm near Davenport, and worked side by side making a living for their three daughters. After leaving the farm, they moved into davenport, and Heinie drove the school bus for 21 years, and Geraldine worked in her huge garden and raising beautiful flowers in their big yard, complete with the trees they planted together. Because of declining health, she left the Davenport area and moved to Gering-Scottsbluff area, where her youngest daughter lived. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother. Survivors include her three daughters, Mrs. Duane Catlett (Jean) of Helena, Mont., Mrs. Bill Oltman (Diane) of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Dick DeForge (Donna) of Scottsbluff; five grandehildren, Chris Catlett of Bozeman, Mont., Mrs. Tory Lyon (Michelle), of Golden, Colo., Mrs. J. R. Johnson (Xan) of Bellingham, Wash., Mike and Mark DeForge, both of Lincoln, Neb.; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Bettie Bruns of Superior. Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, at Christ's Lutheran Church in Davenport. Interment will be in the Edgar Cemetery. Superior Express August 16, 2012. ------------------------- I don't agree with the line that she moved from Davenport to Gering-Scottsbluff area last August.
