Main St., Cumberland, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. Gertrude was born on March 4, 1914, in Tuscarawas County, to the late Leotis and Clementina Cole White. Gertrude worked with her husband as owner/operator of the Cumberland Hardware Store, where she served as clerk. She was a member of the Cumberland Methodist Church. Main St., Cumberland, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. Gertrude was born on March 4, 1914, in Tuscarawas County, to the late Leotis and Clementina Cole White. Gertrude worked with her husband as owner/operator of the Cumberland Hardware Store, where she served as clerk. She was a member of the Cumberland Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Robert Edward and Alice Hennen of Cumberland; a daughter, Margaret and Harold "Sonny" Jordan of Minford, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Hennen of New Concord; eight grandchildren, Scott Hennen, Kathleen Sikora, Bradley Hennen, Cory Hennen, Tyler Hennen, Brian Jordan, Christopher Jordan and Eric Jordan; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hennen, who passed away in August 1978; two sons, Gerald Lee Hennen, who passed away in April 2006, and an infant son, John Richard Hennen, who passed away in 1939; a brother, Ermal White; and two sisters, Bertha Smeltzer and Annis Burdette. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 15, at Tom & Farus Funeral Home in Cumberland, where the funeral will be at noon with the Rev. Keith Taylor officiating.
