Description	:	Gertrude Caroline Marie (Allerheiligen) Whited (1915 - 1983) Gertrude Caroline Marie Whited was born on November 20, 1915 at Hanover, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Anna Wulf Allerheiligen. She died on Saturday morning, August 12, 1983 at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital, Denison, Iowa at the age of 68. Gertrude was raised and educated in Kansas. Read More	Gertrude Caroline Marie (Allerheiligen) Whited (1915 - 1983) Gertrude Caroline Marie Whited was born on November 20, 1915 at Hanover, Kansas the daughter of Henry and Anna Wulf Allerheiligen. She died on Saturday morning, August 12, 1983 at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital, Denison, Iowa at the age of 68. Gertrude was raised and educated in Kansas. In 1931, she was united in marriage to Myrle McCullough. To this union six children were born. After moving from Kansas to Iowa, they made their home in Denison. For many years, Gertrude was employed in the Denison community. On January 18,1960, Gertrude was united in marriage to Warren Whited in Council Bluffs. Together they made their home in Denison until 1978 when they moved to Deloit. Gertrude has been a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by one son, Jessie McCullough, one step daughter, Arlene Bolken, two grandchildren, one sister Helen and a brother Herbert. Survivors include her husband Warren of Deloit, her children Patricia, Mrs. Warren Thies of Ute, Myrle McCullough of Wichita, KS, Theresa, Mrs. Robert Symington of Santa Anna, CA, Elizabeth, Mrs. James Wonderly of Grand Island, NE and Mary Kay Thompson of Krum, TX; her step children, Delores, Mrs. Bob Slater of Denison, Irene Stone of Wills Point, TX, Gale Whited of Denison, Ruby, Mrs. Alvin Kimmen of Harlan, Judith, Mrs. Cecil Clayton of Isabella, MO, Gerald Whited of Deloit and Yolanda, Mrs. Fred Sherburn of Wrightwood, CA. Also surviving are forty-seven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two brothers, Otto Allerheiligen of Beatrice, NE and Clarence Allerheiligen of Marysville, MO and Mrs. Olga Downing of Tampa, FL. Funeral services .were held on Tuesday, August 16, 1983, at the First Baptist Church in Denison. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery near Denison. The Rev. Warren Wilson officiated at the services. Mrs. Wilbur Petersen served as organist with Henry Henningsen as soloist. Hymns for the service were How Great Thou Art and What A Friend We Have In Jesus. Pallbearers were Dale Holzfaster, Roger Weinbrandt, Robert Paup, Don Ossian, Dennis Marten and Wilbur Petersen.
