She died at the Mercy hospital in Council Bluffs February 28, 1955 at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 24 days. She was married to matthew J. Dohm at Howard South Dakota. One daughter, Hilda was born to this union. Mr Dohm passed away June 24, 1924. For the past years Mrs Dohm was employed as a housekeeper at the home of her brother-in-law, Frank Dohm at Earling. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church in Earling March 3, 1955 with the Rev. Msgr. Peter A. Bissen officiating. Pauley's funeral home was in charge. Pallbearers were Tony Rau, William R. Schaben, Hubert Kenkel, Lawrence Kimmer, Joseph Sonderman and Theodore Foxhoven. Burial was in St. Martin's cemetery at Odebolt, Iowa. Harlan Tribune Harlan, Iowa April 1, 1955
