The cause of his death was a cerebralthrombosis clot, together with other complications. It is thought thathis disease was brought on by a fall which he sustained the evening ofJanuary 31, 1926. For a time, he was under the care of surgeons inChicago and was brought back home a number of weeks ago, apparentlymuch benefited. The funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at ArthurMethodist Church by Rev. Buthman, assisted by Rev. Davies of IdaGrove, Iowa. The Masonic Lodge took charge at the burial in the IdaGrove Cemetery. Omar Williams was the son of Richard and Angeline Williams and wasborn on the old home farm in Grant Township, Ida County, Iowa, March28, 1887, and lived to the age of 39 years, 1 month, and 2 days. Hespent his entire life in this vicinity with the exception of two yearswhen he was proving up a homestead in South Dakota. He was married February 22, 1912, to Miss Gertrude Schuler of Clifton,Kansas. Their union was a short one as the wife was taken by deathAugust 20, 1915. He was married a second time on February 15, 1921,his bride being Miss Marie E. Burnquist. To this union two childrenwere born, John Bernard, now 4 years old, and Dorothy Angeline, oneyear old. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Paxton, S.D. of Ida GroveLodge No. 259 of Odd Fellows, Golden Rule Camp No. 45 of this order,Maple Leaf Chapter O.E.S. and of Kane Lodge, A.F. & A.M. of Ida Grove. His mother and two brothers preceded him to their heavenly home. Heleaves his wife and two children of Arthur; his father (RichardWilliams) of Ida Grove, three brothers and four sisters: Frank ofSaskatchewan, Canada; Albert G. of Seneca, S.D.; Charles of IdaGrove; Mrs. Clara Tenney of Chicago, Rose McGee of Seneca, S.D.;Florence Winslow of Ida Grove; and Ellen P. Williams of Ida Grove. Among the out of town people at the funeral were Mr. & Mrs. JohnWilliams, Mr. & Mrs. William Williams, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Krackie,Mrs. Maggie Brownmiller, Miss Ida Williams (all of Marcus, Iowa); Mrs.Winifred Williams and daughter Helen of Villisca, Iowa; Albert G.Williams of Seneca, S.D.; Mrs. M. E.
