Omer was the son of Richard & Angeline Williams and was born on the old home farm in Grant Township, March 28, 1887, and was 39 years 1 month and 2 days. Omer was the son of Richard & Angeline Williams and was born on the old home farm in Grant Township, March 28, 1887, and was 39 years 1 month and 2 days. It is thought that his disease was brought on by a fall which he sustained the evening of January 31, 1926. He spent his entire life in this vicinity with the exception of two years when he was proving up a homestead in South Dakota. The cause of his death was a cerebral thrombosis clot, together with other complications. He was married Feb. 22, 1912, to Gertrude Schuler of Clifton, Ks. Their union was a short one as the wife was taken by death Aug. 20, 1915. He was married a second time on Feb. 15, 1921, his bride being Marie E. Burnquist. To this union two children were born, John Bernard, now 4 years old, and Dorothy Angeline, one year old. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Paxton, S.D. of Ida Grove Lodge No. 259 of Odd Fellows, Golden Rule Camp No. 45 of this order, Maple Leaf Chapter O.E.S. and of Kane Lodge, A.F. & A.M. of Ida Grove. His mother and two brothers preceded him to their heavenly home. He leaves his wife and two children of Arthur; his father (Richard Williams) of Ida Grove, three brothers and four sisters: Frank of Saskatchewan, Canada; Albert G. of Seneca, S.D.; Charles of Ida Grove; Mrs. Clara Tenney of Chicago, Rose McGee of Seneca, S.D.; Florence Winslow of Ida Grove; and Ellen P.
