She passed away in the Central City Hospital on October 20, 1969 at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 4 days. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School and Public School District 18. She passed away in the Central City Hospital on October 20, 1969 at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 4 days. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School and Public School District 18. She was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church where she held membership until the time of her death. She was an active member of the Lutheran Womens Missionary League and the Ladies Aid. She was united in marriage to Milfred Lawrence Johnson on March 4, 1930. They resided on a farm near Polk until 1961 when they moved to Polk to make their home. She'll be remembered as a kind and devoted mother, grandmother and friend of all. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, two sisters, Lillian Stach and Mathilda Schulze and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Milfred, two sons Gordon of Polk; Gwynuel of Hampton; two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Alice Johnson and Mrs. Kathleen Johnson six grandchildren; one brother, Walter Stach of St. Paul, Minnesota; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Wilshusen of Crete and Mrs. Frieda Waak of York and many close relatives and a host of friends. Officiating at the memorial services at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Thursday afternoon, October 23, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. was Rev. A.H. Wagner of Central City. Bearers were Ralph Wilshusen, Carl J. Waak, Dr. Doyle Gustafson, Lavern Schulze, Norman Wilshusen and Leon Johnson. Interment was in the Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery.
