Description	:	"MILES CITY -- Gilbert 'Gib' Sams, a brand inspector from 1945 to 1975, was active in the Republican party and served as an election judge from 1936 to 1976. He died Monday at age 74 in the VA Hospital. He was born in Hurdland, Mo., the son of Jim and Mary Sams, who moved to Big Horn, Wyo., in 1910. When he was 21, he homesteaded in the Biddle area and married Elsie Houser in 1939. They had ranched in the Biddle area since 1965. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Jesse (Mary) Bandy...
