Read More	Glada Marie Aye Abel, 88, of Miles City passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at her home in Miles City. Mrs. Abel was born on Dec. 29, 1920, the daughter of John A. and Margrette Aye. She graduated from Custer County High School and attended Spearfish Normal. She worked various jobs including secretary to an Army general and an assembly line worker during World War II. She most loved staying at home and caring for her children, mother and grandchildren. Mrs. Abel was indeed a caretaker and anyone could always find a hot meal at noon. She was a private person, but took great joy in her family including nieces and nephews, Aaron, John Jr., Bret, Charles, Robbie, Johnny and sister-in-law, Lona Aye. She also loved to get together with her many friends and to travel with her children. Her survivors include her son, Bill Abel and wife Nancy; daughter Margrette Kinne and husband Mike; grandchildren, Mikael Porcello, Andrew and Adam Abel; two great-grandchildren; and special sister and aunt, Arla Green. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Herbie Jr.; and five siblings. Graveside services were on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City.
