Mrs. Abell was born 17 May 1911 in Stanley and was a daughter of the late William Huffman and Minnie Alger Huffman. She was a nurse with the Federal Government. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Osborne B. Abell and Joseph A. Abell. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara A. Bremerman of College Park, Md. Two sons, John Abell of Clements, Md. and Joseph Abell of La Plata, Md. Two sisters, Nellie Berry of Stanley and Lucy Robertson of Beltsville, Md. and four grandchildren. Paster Ruth Rinker will conduct the funeral 11 a. m. Saturday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, where Visitation will be from 10-11 a. m. Saturday. Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery at Alma in Stanley.
