The memorial will be held at the club house of Green Acres where their home is. A luncheon will be provided. Gladys was born July 18, 1942, in Tama County, the daughter of Leonard and Margaret Hofer. She was united in marriage with Garry Schrage on May 28, 1960, in Unionville, Mo. The family lived in Grinnell for a time and she was employed at Holland Plastics in Gilman. She later worked in Des Moines in the Department of Iowa Children and Families Services, retiring after 20 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and family at Lake Rathbun near their home. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and was there for them always making life fun and exciting until her illness. She is survived by her husband, a daughter and a son and a friend of Moravia; two grandchildren; her brother and wife of Des Moines; three sisters. She is preceded in death by three grandchildren in infancy; her parents Margaret and Leonard Hofer; a brother Larry Hofer and a sister, Darlene Routier.
