Mrs. Bezdek was born Gladys Cook on Sept. 8, 1915, at Bennington and had been a resident of the Chapman area. She was a resident of Detroit until moving to the Abilene Nursing Center in 1979. She was a member of the former Detroit United Methodist Church. Her husband, Milton, died in 1979. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Danner Funeral Home, Abilene, the Rev. Jerry Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Enterprise.
