Description	:	Gladys M. Elmore, 95 of El Dorado, AR, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Life Touch's John R. Williamson Hospice House following a lengthy illness. Born on October 13, 1914 in Union County, she was the daughter of Henry and Gracie Reese Stegall. Gladys was a descendant of an old Union County pioneer family the Stegalls. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, but later in life attended Green Grove Assembly of God Church. Gladys was the dietician for the State Hospital at Benton for 18 years. During this time she along with her husband operated the Trout Motel... Read More	Gladys M. Elmore, 95 of El Dorado, AR, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Life Touch's John R. Williamson Hospice House following a lengthy illness. Born on October 13, 1914 in Union County, she was the daughter of Henry and Gracie Reese Stegall. Gladys was a descendant of an old Union County pioneer family the Stegalls. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, but later in life attended Green Grove Assembly of God Church. Gladys was the dietician for the State Hospital at Benton for 18 years. During this time she along with her husband operated the Trout Motel and Restaurant in Benton. In El Dorado they also operated the Princess Café and Frank's Café at various times. Gladys enjoyed quilting and tending to her flower garden, she also loved to travel. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and three sisters, husbands Asa Elmore and Elmer Lum, daughters Darlene Ederington and Mary Rudder, a son Charles Lum and stepsons Body and Ed Elmore, grandsons Todd and Phil Williams, Tommy and Dennis Frisby, and Rusty Wyatt, and a granddaughter Janice Williams. Survivors are daughters Bobbie Littlefield of Norphlet, AR. Glenda Moseley (Joe) of El Dorado, AR. sons Robert Lum and Daniel Lum ( Claudia) all of El Dorado, AR, stepdaughters Evelyn Doddridge of Traskwood, AR and Nancy Slater of Coffeyville, TX, along with 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 19 great great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 9, 2010 in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
