He was baptized Nov. 9, 1952 at Martin Luther Church by Rev. William Fruehling. and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the same church June 5, 1966, by Rev. Carl O. Carlson. Read More	Obituary: Glen August Guenther, son of August and Elanor (Lampert) Guenther was born Oct. 25, 1952 at Auburn, NE. He was one of 4 children, born to this marriage. He was baptized Nov. 9, 1952 at Martin Luther Church by Rev. William Fruehling. and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the same church June 5, 1966, by Rev. Carl O. Carlson. He attended both grade and high school at Johnson-Brock school. graduating in the class of 1970. Sept. 17, 1971 he was married to Elaine LaVigne. One daughter Alicia Ann, was born to this marriage. They lived in Lincoln for a time and then moved to Brock, NE. They were later divorced. July 10, 1981 he was married Dorothy Lockhart. They made their home at Gainsville, TX. until just recently they moved to Sanger, TX. Glen lived his life for his family but he had a great love for the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He had been seriously ill since late this spring. He was hospitalized most of the time since June of this year. He died early Monday morning Nov. 5, 1984 at the Baylor Medical Center at Dallas, TX. He had reached the age 32 years and 11 days. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy,Sanger, TX. his daugher Alicia Ann of Lincoln, NE. His step children, Jennifer and Mark Lockhart of Sanger, TX. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Guenther of rural Auburn, NE. 3 sisters, Marilyn Swartz of Lincoln. Mrs. Harold (Donna) Bohling of Auburn, and Mrs. Doyle (Norma)DeBoer of Lincoln, NE. by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and great many friends. Casketbearers: Joe Smith, Mark Rippe, Harley Fass, Gailen Eggers, Willard Behrends, and Steve Rademacher.
