Description	:	Glen Dale Willett, the third son of Sam Willett and Margaret Hatfield Willett, was born June 7, 1919, at Bostwick, Nebraska. One of 12 children, he grew up on the farm near Bostwick. He married Lois Schnard and they had 2 children, Glenda Jean and Robert Dale; also 4 step-children, Pat, Barb, Mike and Vickie. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren. Read More	Glen Dale Willett, the third son of Sam Willett and Margaret Hatfield Willett, was born June 7, 1919, at Bostwick, Nebraska. One of 12 children, he grew up on the farm near Bostwick. He married Lois Schnard and they had 2 children, Glenda Jean and Robert Dale; also 4 step-children, Pat, Barb, Mike and Vickie. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren. After serving in World War II he moved to Wichita, Kansas, where he worked for the same company until he retired. His wife preceded him in death and he moved near Bostwick where he lived near his brother, Sam, and nephew, David Rust, until his death October 9, 1984. He leaves many in a closely knit family to mourn his passing and miss him greatly, as will his many good friends. Grandchildren held a very special place in his heart and life as did all children. Nieces and nephews grown with children of their own remember him as a very special uncle. His mother and father preceded him in death, as did two brothers, Gordon and Bedford, and a sister, Norma Collins, eight brothers and sisters survive, Ruth, Arlene and Joyce of Sacramento, California, Willene of Grand Junction, Colorado, Shirlene and Lois of Lincoln, Earl of Wichita, and Sam of Superior. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 14, 1984, at 2:00 p.m. from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Atherton officiating. "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond The Sunset" were sung by Ilene Nielsen with Carlita Price as organist and accompanist. Casketbearers were: Eulin Ebsen, Bob Strnad, John Combs, Roy Kottmeyer, Harold Duffy, Ron Elledge and Max Sloan. Military Rites by the Superior American Legion and VFW Posts with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior was in charge of the arrangements.
