Description	:	Glen, 89, Lima, died at 1:10 a.m., at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Thomas and Lottie 'Dolly' (Farley) Brantley. On May 17, 1954, he married Jane Keith, who preceded him in death. Surviving are four children: Glen E. (Carol) Brantley, Jr., John L. Brantley, Jerry R. Dennison and Michael A. (Patty) Brantley; and fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son linked below; a brother, Frank T.; and two sisters: Freida I. On May 17, 1954, he married Jane Keith, who preceded him in death. Surviving are four children: Glen E. (Carol) Brantley, Jr., John L. Brantley, Jerry R. Dennison and Michael A. (Patty) Brantley; and fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son linked below; a brother, Frank T.; and two sisters: Freida I. (Melvin) Simpson and Mary Alice (Raymond) Hughes. Having attended Springfield High School in Springfield, IL, he proudly served in the United States Coast Guard in 1945 and joined the USCG Combat Association. Upon his Honorable Discharge, he moved to Lima. As an avid worker, he retired from Equity Dairy Industries after roughly 42 years of service. He was a member of Lima Lodge #205 Free & Accepted Masons, 32nd Degree Mason Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo, York Rite Bodies of Allen County and a life member of VFW Post #1275 and Teamster Local 908. He loved to camp at State Grounds and National Monuments. He loved NASCAR, he took particular interest in Dale Earnhardt Jr and Danica Patrick. Services will be at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, with Rev. Charles Brantley officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
