Description	:	Glen Junior Browning, 61 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed from this life on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital following an extended illness. Glen was born in Madison, West Virginia on March 11th, 1956, son of the late Glen Browning and Bernice Mullins Browning. Glen was a Retired Maintenance Worker with Maria Joseph’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Dayton, Ohio. Glen was born in Madison, West Virginia on March 11th, 1956, son of the late Glen Browning and Bernice Mullins Browning. Glen was a Retired Maintenance Worker with Maria Joseph’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Dayton, Ohio. He was of the Christian Faith and was a kind and generous man who “Loved others with a love that was unimaginable”. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and “Junking” as well as playing the guitar and spending time with his family and friends. Glen was survived by his loving wife, Loretta Edwards Browning of Somerset, Kentucky; three sons, Christopher (and Christy) Enderle of Georgetown, Kentucky, Ricky Browning of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Joshua (and Jessica) Hubbard of Somerset, Kentucky; five daughters, Stephanie (and Darrell) Hatton of Dayton, Ohio, Melissa Wells of Miamisburg, Ohio, Crystal Hubbard, Angela Hubbard, and Tabitha (and Frank) Williamson, all of Somerset, Kentucky; two brothers, Alvin “Slick” (and Evonda) Browning of Bald Knob, West Virginia and Mack Browning of James Creek, West Virginia; three sisters, Mary Ellen (and Jerry) Cole of Fairdale, West Virginia, Sandy (and Mike) Slack of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Shirley (and Fred) Charles of Tampa, Florida; seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandchild “on the way”; four brother-in-laws, Larry Edwards of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Johnny (and Brenda Sue) Edwards of Seymour, Indiana, Jerry (and Mariah) Edwards of Barbourville, Kentucky, and Steven Edwards of Barbourville, Kentucky; three sister-in-laws, LeeEtta Eversole of Lily, Kentucky, Eva Edwards of Girdler, Kentucky, and Patricia (and Phillp) Rice of Barbourville, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, who mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Browning and Bernice Browning; one brother, Robert Browning; and one sister, Evelyn Holstein. Visitations were held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12th, 2018 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home and again on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Bald Knob Methodist Church in Bald Knob, West Virginia. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m at the Bald Knob Methodist Church with his brother, Rev. Alvin Browning officiating. Burial followed in the Jasper Workman Cemetery in Bald Knob, West Virginia. THIS IS A TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF GLEN, 1 Thessalonians 4. 16-18 (King James Version) 16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
